BRENT RIDGE - NAC CLASSES 07.14.15

Hello All:

Thanks for coming to our Drawing and Painting class.
This week we will be a using still life in class, using tabletop containers, and bottles will do well for us.  If you have some good looking containers in the recycle bin you want to bring, they will help the collection.

Giorgio Morandi

I want us to think of muted tones and colors to begin with, especially for those beginning to paint and consider color and all its demands.  Think about the above image of a painting by Giorgio Morandi - this is our inspiration for creating unified color or tone in a still life and how to consider space.  He is also very useful at creating feeling in an inanimate object.  Click on the LINK for more.

Those interested in exploring their individual projects feel free to bring those along.  See you in class.
