In support of the beleaguered Detroit Institute of Arts, a coordinated art-blog protest to be staged this Wednesday. This effort is to raise awareness of the position that the DIA has been put in by city managers of Detroit. It is an attempt of selling off public ownership of the arts that comes every once in a while that requires defending. I hope that this latest effort fails --- but I will do my part and help republish information regarding this important issue.
