Something in German about the waterfall. I included it because it's carved. They just don't make those park signs like they used to, eh?

Lift Off - We're Leaving Europe
Well, here the moment after 2 years of living abroad that comes to an abrupt halt: takeoff to America begins tomorrow and that will mark an obvious new beginning for myself and my family. I will leave friendships built here, and some of those friends, being international artists themselves have left for their respective countries already as I speak. I have loved living as an ex-Pat artist in Europe and feel I have taken advantage of that situation to my betterment. Now comes a new chapter in which I will re-integrate myself and my art into my old (and new) country. I now don't think I'll ever look at it the same way --- which is a good thing. I'm not big on souveniers, but there's a bit of Glasgow that's going be leaving with this artist on his way back to America. It is a well of rainwater I will always be able to draw upon.

Neo Rauch
Found this gem, amongst others at Museum der bildenden Kunste Leipzig. Leipzig is home to Neo Rauch and the 'New Leipzig School' of painters. Great Place.

Raoul De Keyser
A Berlin encounter with the small painting genius. These were installed at Galerie Barbara Weiss. The exhibition was titled 'To Walk'. Just made it here before the close of the show. It was an irreplaceable afternoon spent strolling with these paintings.
